This intriguing piece of paper engineering, a Pantomime Toy book printed by the McCloughlin Brothers in 1885, forms the shape of a little theater complete with a proscenium arch, curtains, and even an orchestra pit, with bright double-sided chromolithograph illustrations attached "center stage" to allow readers to flip through the story. We also have five fanfolded pop-ups from Geraldine Clyne's "Mother Goose Playhouse" series.
